Fee-only advisor

Wealth management with purpose.

A family, a business, a profession, a retirement, or an institution. The capital is different. The purpose is not. Sabalo Wealth Partners is here to help.

You may be leaving a career, running a company, living on an inheritance, or responsible for a foundation or a retirement plan. The work is the same: keep it secure, let it grow, and put it to the use it was meant for.

We sit with people and institutions in all of those places. Our role is straightforward: protect what has been built, grow it thoughtfully, and keep it pointed at the life or the mission it serves.

Markets don’t stay calm forever. Volatility is the fee you pay for long-term returns — and the source of the best buying opportunities. At Sabalo, we don’t try to eliminate it. We use it. When others are scared, we stay disciplined, keep your plan intact, and look for chances to put capital to work at better prices.

Fee-only advisorFee-only means we never take a commission — or any pay — tied to a product we recommend.

To generate, compound, and preserve wealth so our clients are free to pursue what matters most.

  • GGenerate
  • CCompound
  • PPreserve

Compounding investment earnings is what can make even small investments become large investments given enough time.

Services

Planning, investments, tax, estate, giving, and retirement.

The aim is simple: a comfortable lifestyle you can count on, with the money still working. We manage risk first. Fee-only compensation means we never accept commissions or any pay tied to a product we recommend.

  • Financial planning

What you have, what you need to live on, and how it should work together over a lifetime.

  • Investment management

Portfolios built for income, growth, and sleep-at-night risk. We do not publish model portfolios here; we build them for you.

  • Tax strategies

We look at the tax cost of a decision before you make it, in partnership with your CPA — not instead of one.

  • Estate planning

We help you organize what you have, who it is for, and how it should move — in partnership with your attorney, not instead of one.

  • Charitable giving

Gifts arranged so they fit the estate and the tax picture, alongside the advisors you already trust.

  • Retirement plan services

IRAs, pensions, and employer plans, set so the income fits the rest of your life.

Standard

We work for you. Your interests come first.

We will always act in our clients’ best interests.

We are paid by you, and only by you. We do not earn anything on the products we recommend, take a payment from another firm, or trade against your account. The fee is straightforward. We do better when you do better.

The firm

Brandon Fries

Brandon founded Sabalo Wealth Partners to give people a calm place to land — whether they already have much to protect, or they have been entrusted with proceeds after a loss or a life-changing claim.

Sabalo is Spanish for tarpon — the silver king. Patient and built for long water. They migrate up and down the coasts and navigate the chop.

Before Sabalo, Brandon spent more than twenty-six years at Wasatch Global Investors in Salt Lake City. Most of that time he was vice president of sales, developing relationships with hundreds of advisory firms and with wirehouses, RIAs, broker-dealers, and retirement platforms. He played a key role in the firm’s business development as Wasatch grew from $2 billion to $40 billion by 2021. CFP® since 2011. He speaks fluent Spanish.
